Logline: Wolves attack Esther's dog! But before she can hunt them down, an assignment takes her deep into the Alaska wilderness where she is drawn into a mysterious companionship with a wolf fighting for survival against hungry bears. The wolf often lays beside her, sometimes with his pups, while the bears and other wolves aren’t so friendly. Curiosity leads her to scientists searching for clues about how the wolf became man’s best friend.
